Upcoming and Marni

I have a lot of events and such coming up soon; styling a shoot monday for Anthea O'brien photography again, and shooting my racewear and wetsuit garments which I cannot wait to share on my blog.

This image is from a sunglasses brand Marni. The photo is perfect; the expression, the matching of the garments, and the pop of graffiti and pink, even her expression! Just perfect.

Josh Goot inspired vest.

So I mentioned I would be making a Josh Goot style vest due to the expense of a real one.. well, I did it! I decided to do it all white, and quilt it, as I have an obsession with clean white garments at the moment.

Here is the final result, and please excuse my poor quality iphone photos.
Final Result.

Wearing: Acne long sleeve top, cheap monday jeans, jeffrey campbell boots, and homemade vest.

JOSH GOOT.

I am completely obsessed with Josh Goot's silk bomber's and vests at the moment! I cannot stop lusting over them! All the different fabrics are amazing, but I don't know whether I can afford to pull out a grand or two, so I think I will have to make one. I will post some pictures in the next two days of the results... but for the mean time. Here is some Josh Goot to die over.

Alexander Wang Cruise/resort 2013 collection

I am in love with Alexander Wang's latest collection. The use of subtle contrast between fabrics and amazing cuts are to die for. I would wear every look created! The use of black and white is amazing, I love how it's so simple yet so different.

This look is defiantly my favourite of the range. It is completely wearable and fashion forward, yet still quite simple.

I am in love with the quilted look this season for jackets and vests, Josh Goot making a good example in his last collection.

Etsy

I love Etsy, it's such a great way to discover small, local designers that are very individual. Flipping through the other day, just looking at new stores, I found this little shop called Stella Bleu Designs.

Her work is all handmade and has a beautiful industrial look to it. I would love to purchase one of these amazing pieces to add to my room, but being a student they come in a bit too pricey for something I don't really need which is a shame!

You can shop Stella Bleu Designs here.

Commercial Trend: Wedge Heel Sneakers.

I can't seem to get my head around this fast growing trend of the 'sneaker heel'. I am constantly seeing girls wearing these on the streets, when as a child and a teenager, I was constantly told that sneakers are for exercising! But then again, when I come to think of it, it wasn't long ago the double denim look was socially frowned upon.

After thinking about it a lot, I still cannot see myself ever coming close to purchasing a pair of these 'sneakers', in fact I think I'll keep my sneakers in my gym bag all together. If you have the guts and the style to pull it off though, go ahead by all means.
